Welcome to the Whitireia blog v2.0

Korihi te manu
Tākiri mai te ata
Ka ao, ka ao, ka awatea
Tihei mauri ora!

The bird sings
The morning has broken
It is dawn, it is light, it is broad daylight
Behold, there is life!

That’s right whānau and friends, the Whitireia blog has reawakened! We’re back with a fresh voice and a slick new look.

Despite the new name, we can’t promise mind-blowing leaks of classified information. We can, however, promise to keep you up-to-date with all the goings on across our Wellington, Porirua, Kāpiti and Auckland campuses, including the latest news and views from staff and students alike.

There are tonnes of things happening at Whitireia at the moment, but we don’t plan to simply look inward for content. Our people are a smart and engaged bunch and this will be a place where we muse on things at an institutional, local, national, and even global level. We also hope you’ll join in the conversation so feel free to leave comments, contact us via email, call, write a letter, send a smoke signal, whatever. If you’ve got something important or interesting to talk about, or even just want to say hi, we want to hear from you.

For now, we’ll leave you with a link to our beautiful new prospectus so you can peruse our academic information and programme offerings for 2016 (we are, of course, a tertiary education provider!) Enjoy.

Ngā mihi ki a koutou!
